In May 2007 the Royal College of Nursing started their UK-Wide roll-out programme of re-branding their numerous offices with the refurbishment and fit-out of their office in Bolton and this was quickly followed by work to RCN’s new Newbury and Nottingham offices.
Following the successful completion of these projects, the fit-out of RCN’s Cardiff office is due to commence in early 2008.
BWA is appointed to provide cost consultancy and CDM co-ordinator duties on the Spacelab designed schemes.
Goldsmiths College, University of London – (posted 1 Mar 2007)
Following a competitive procurement process run under the EU Procurement Directive and a lot of hard work by our team, Goldsmiths College, University of London have appointed BWA as project managers for the college’s new Media and Communications Building as they believe that BWA can deliver the project ‘with a difference’. Due for completion in mid 2009, the building will provide approximately 2000m2 of accommodation.
Petchey Academy, East London – (posted 27 Feb 2007)
BWA have been appointed to provide Facilities Management Consultancy for this new Academy, which is being constructed on the site of the former Kingsland School in Shacklewell Lane, Hackney, East London. The Academy moved into temporary accommodation in September 2006 and on completion will move to the new 10,000m2 building providing places for 1200 pupils aged 11-18. The new Academy building is due to open in September 2007.
